Collection: Nature Table

The Waldorf Nature Table is a wonderful way to celebrate and connect more deeply to the seasons throughout the year. The simplicity of this table is its beauty - small things will do: a flower of the season, seeds, rocks and stones, driftwood, a picture or a crystal. It can be something you or your children collect on walks in nature and bring into your home to remind you of the secrets nature holds. Ever changing the nature table marks the passage of the seasons and lets you and your child revel in the beauty of nature.

I very keenly remember from my childhood the book by Sibylle von Olfers, “Die Wurzel Kinder,” translated as, “The Story of the Root Children.” It shows in wonderful pictures the transformation Mother Earth and her children go through during the year. My creations are influenced by that book.
