She is hand-knit from silk/cotton mix (which is a pain to knit with 
) her shawl from a very thin linen/cotton mix yarn (which not less painless 
), cotton fabric for skin, curly mohair for hair, standing firmly ~8" tall on a fabric covered wooden base. She would be a wonderful gift for the new school year.
